Conference Opening Reception, 8th of September: Interpretation Centre, Cardiff Castle
The conference Opening reception will be held at Cardiff Castle, one of Wales's leading tourist attractions, on the 8th of September 2010. Cardiff Castle is one of Wales' leading heritage attractions and a site of international significance. Located at the heart of the capital, within beautiful parklands, the Castle's walls and fairytale towers conceal 2,000 years of history.
Opened on 12 June 2008, the Interpretation Centre relates the extraordinary episodes in the history of Cardiff Castle. From its open-air roof terrace, the views of the Castle and city skyline are simply breathtaking.
During the reception, there will be an opportunity to see a selection of the lavishly decorated Castle apartments, led by a highly knowledgeable castle guide.
